OneBlink’s App Deployment Evolution

OneBlinks App Deployment Evolution

OneBlink’s focus has always been on providing easy to use software and services that reduces the time and business risk in developing custom forms and work guides, and the simple deployment of those assets for a range of users, either ‘-as-a-Service’ or via apps. That app deployment strategy has focused on PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) that have flourished in an ever innovating device market that provides near-native functionality, well suited to internally focused business productivity solutions.

All the while, there has remained a need by some clients to produce apps that can be hosted within the App & Play stores, particularly for apps serving customers and external stakeholders.

Today, we’re excited to announce we are now also able to produce Apple and Android apps which can be lodged in their respective stores, allowing you to add another level of visibility and distribution to your apps whenever it's needed.

This enhancement completes the OneBlink vision of being able to begin app development from a low-code base with non-technical users, and scale that development to serve the most demanding use cases without having to waste time and effort reverting to native code or alternate development environments.

Under our always evolving ‘Software-as-a-Service’, this functionality is already in use by SafeWork NSW’s ‘Speak Up’ App, where Customer Service NSW had a requirement to take the original PWA version and ensure it had maximum exposure and ease of access for users reporting unsafe work practices.
